Edward R. Close, Ph.D.

Dr. Close studied at Central Methodist College, the University of Missouri, Johns Hopkins University, and four other schools, earning degrees in math, physics and environmental engineering. The focus of Dr. Close's work is the integration of science and consciousness expansion. As a physicist, his areas of reaserch are relativity and quantum mechanics. Since 1959, his explorations of the physical sciences has been enhanced by the intesive practice of consciousness expansion techniques. These techniques include yoga and meditation techniques drawn from the world's mystical traditions. A member of several professional organizations, MENSA and Self-Realization Fellowship, he has traveled extensively and taught mathematics, physics, and meditation techniques.
